Well we took Lucy swimming yesterday for the first time. We just took her to Reed Gym's indoor pool in hopes that she would become used to the water and then enjoy the pool this summer. To say the least it did not go over well. She did alright at first, but she clung fast & hard to Mommy & Daddy. We were in the water approx 10 minutes before she was really letting us know that she was done swimming and she meant it, but it was worth a try. At least she looked darling in her bathing suit. Poor little thing doesn't know that we're going back again soon. I'm sure she'll get used to it. She is definitely like her Daddy though, a little more cautious and slow going as opposed to her mother who barely looks before she leaps. It was still a fun first for us at least.

we too pulled out the swimming gear for the first time yesterday- maggie could hardly wait to get her chubby legs into her suit! she was SO excited and proud of herself... but stayed dry the entire day! oh well, it made for a more relaxing time for me not having to keep a close eye on her! as usual- emma and boo had no problem getting wet! great pictures!
