Birthday Time

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUCY!!!

This is her in her new birthday coat. Notice the fabulous pj's underneath.
She was a happy girl all day long (as usual of course). Especially when she had green frosting on her lil fingers!
Look at that beautiful smile!! That girl loves her daddy!
1...2...3...blow!! The cousins & friends had to help a little bit, and it was only 1 candle.
The sad (but all in one piece) cake. It was supposed to be in the shape of a butterfly, and totally different colors. Well, the cake fell apart, so we put it back together this way.

What a wonderful birthday Lucy had. I cannot believe how the time has flown!!!! The whole weekend was really very nostalgic for me. I went back over my whole labor & delivery so many times in my head throughout the weekend. What a truly blessed year we have had. A beautiful, healthy little girl who has brought us so much joy!!! The actual party day was a blast!! We had a super busy weekend, but it was so well worth it! We had family & friends over for her party. Her cake was the saddest part. My original plan sort of fell apart. So we had to piece together what we could & make do. A sad little cake, but it did the job!! The important thing was that we had a WONDERFUL day!!
